6/27/2015 1 Comment The Importance Of Living A Piece Of Your Vision Daily While Setting Short-Termed GoalsLiving a piece of your vision daily has two major effects on your journey to success. Why should you live a piece of your vision daily? The simple fact is, after you write down your vision, taking it from a fantasy into reality, you have to put that vision into action. Otherwise, you will never get started moving forward. Moving forward is another component of bringing your vision into reality. There are people who have written down their vision and still have not acted upon it. Your vision will go nowhere, if you fail to initiate action. You have to occupy your vision. Occupy is an action word. You have to own it. Walk in it. Speak it. Live it. Remember, you are your vision. Walk in your full potential. As you walk forward, you will begin to see doors open, that you could not see before. Learn everything you can, as you continue to walk forward. Write down those tips daily and study them, because you will need them later. Place those tips in your business journal. As you grow, you will be able to go back to the notes and add to them. See yourself working that vision. This is so important, because that vision has to speak through you. When people see you they should identify you, by that vision. Take for example, when you see Bill Gates, what do you think of? You think of Microsoft. How about Michael Jordon? You think about Basketball. What about Virgin Air? You picture Richard Branson. All of these people give you a mental picture. Well, what about you? When people see you do they see what brand you are associated with? Focus on your brand. Allow what is on the inside of you to speak for you. You do this by living a piece of your vision each day. The more you live it. The more you will become it. Oneness with your vision is a must. Another important aspect of living a piece of your vision daily is you will become settled, instead of stopping and veering off the path. You will grow in stability. You cannot be double-minded. Either this is your passion or it is not. If this is your passion, go for it with everything you have got. If you are trying to live someone else’s vision it is a waste of time. Live your vision and let others live theirs. You cannot do someone that is not on the inside of you, because you will struggle. It is not a part of your DNA. As a visionary, follow your vision. No one said that this is easy street. You have to work at it. You have to face some challenges, but those challenges are necessary in the operation of the vision. In the end the benefits will pay off. You will be fulfilled, because you are making a difference in the lives of others. Keep in mind you are a solution to someone else’s problem. When you are living a piece of your vision daily set short-term goals. This is the exciting part. The feeling of accomplishing something is a major motivation factor. The joy of being able to finish is gratifying all by itself. These short-term goals help to define your vision and the purpose that you intended for your vision to produce. Without short-term goals things become stale. The feeling of being overwhelmed begins to take place. How sad it is to become overwhelmed and experience burnout, before you really ever got started? This is so true and it happens many times. The visionary just gave up, because they saw that vision as impossible to accomplish. I am here to tell you try again. There is nothing impossible to you, if you only believe. If you can see it you can have it. Shake yourself and get right back into believing. Sometimes, you have to stand all alone, but that is okay. No one can see the vision, as clearly as the visionary. Short-term goals are mile markers, because it helps you strive for success. Each step is important. These short-term goals are essential. It is unwise to neglect setting short-term goals. Many times people miss it, because they are looking for the big explosion, so they fail to set short-term goals. Failing to initiate short-term goals may cause a person to lose sight of the big picture, which is the main purpose for the existence of the business. When the visionary loses sight of the vision, how can he or she expect anyone to follow? The direction of the business has become clouded. Setting short-term goals are merely stepping stones. It bring clarity, understanding and direction. Every time, a stepping stone is reached there is a refueling. Celebrate each accomplishment. Acknowledge it. Churn the momentum and continue in the fire of excitement. Get involved in your vision, because “This Is Your Time. This Is Your Season. This Is Your Turning Point!”™ © 2015 Gertrude J Chapman All Rights Reserved.
